Les Croc's in Menton

"This tiny restaurant hides behind an unassuming wooden door, easy to miss but absolutely worth finding. Once inside, you’re welcomed into a warm, intimate, and wonderfully familial atmosphere. Two elderly women work magic in a very small open kitchen right in the dining room, creating dishes with passion and precision. A small, characterful (and slightly tired) dog adds even more charm to the experience. I was served the best and freshest steak tartare I have ever had – perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The wine recommended to accompany it was an excellent choice and elevated the meal even further. The menu is understandably limited due to the size of the kitchen, but the quality is outstanding. We will most definitely be back!"

"Very cozy small restaurant run by two ladies. One serves and the other cooks. The menu is very flavourful and delicious. I had the mahi mahi fish dish, yes had to look jup what kind of fish that was, but it tasted very good on a sauce verde with cilantro and tomatoes. Only thing is I wish they had linen napkins and not paper ones."

"My favourite restaurant in Menton. Only c. 10 tables, great service and food which combines great ingredients with a little bit of artistic flare to produce a memorable experience everytime. Very reasonably priced. Tip: it is full every night, however if you forget to book and are happy to eat early (opens at 7) then Ile sweetly at the staff and there's a good chance they'll squeeze you in before a later booking."
